My favourite weddings are not so much caught up in the traditions but embedded with personal touches. Fun and stress free, your wedding symbolises the joy and love you have for each other and that your friends and family have for you too.
I don’t take lightly the privilege of being invited along to such an intimate day in someone’s life and I can be someone to help you plan out a day that feels right for you, I can fit in with your community, and help you not sweat the small stuff.

Hi, I'm Jen, nice to meet you
Originally from the Uk but now based in Victoria, Aus with my partner and goldie, Maggie.
I specialise in a documentary approach. I would describe my style as capturing the subtle or unexpected moments unobtrusively while providing guidance in the moments you may desire it, such as your portraits.
In this new AI world I have found myself drawn to the timeless and tangible charm of film photography. Giving us the chance to slow down, and take photos with intention. If you are seeking photos that show the honest, subtle parts of love and life, and not a day that feels like a curated magazine spread, we could be a match.

Over the years, I have refined my client experience, from the first time you contact me to when you finally have all your images in your hands. I want this experience to be fun and for you to feel cared for, especially leading up to your wedding.
Services & offerings
I offer collections custom to your needs, starting from $2,600 and ranging up to $4,950 for couples who would like to include a fine art album. Here’s what else I offer:
Elopements starting from $2,600 and weddings from $3,950
Each collection is designed to document your day in a way that feels relaxed, intentional, and true to the atmosphere of it all - giving you the space to be fully present while everything unfolds naturally around you.
Collections can be tailored to suit the shape of your day, with the option to add additional hours for $550ph.
Each offering is photographed exclusively on 35mm and medium format film. So each frame feels intentional and full of character.
Fine Art Albums. So you can preserve your precious photos for years to come.
Extra Hours. Thinking of extending coverage? All base packages allow for additional hours to be added if required.
Additional Photographer. Struggled to cut down the guest list? For weddings over 150 guests you may want to consider a second photographer to ensure nothing is missed.
Travel. Anywhere up to an hour from Maldon, Vic is included. For journeys further afield I can work out a custom quote for you - it may be less than you think!

Where are you based?
I am based in Castlemaine, Vic but travel across Melbourne and even further afield.

Why film and what cameras do you use?
I started off shooting film alongside digital photography. Over time, I fell more and more in love with analogue film and craved the time and space to dedicate towards it on a wedding day. Each photo is so full of character. On the day, I bring a couple of fast, modern, reliable film cameras, as well as a medium format camera for portraits and a couple of fun point and shoots / toy cameras.
Why intimate weddings and elopements?
As I shoot as a one person team, I find smaller weddings allow me to capture your day best, without burning out. I have also noticed over time, intimate weddings have turned out to be my favourite, allowing couples to spend quality time with their people. I will take on a select few larger weddings a year upon request.
Do you also offer albums?
Yes! Creating albums brings me so much joy and started my love affair with photography in my early life. You can either select my package that includes and album (offers a saving) or add one on after the day :)
How much is the deposit to lock you in?
To lock in your date, a signed contract and a non refundable 25% retainer will be required. The final amount will be due 30 days before your wedding date.
How soon would we receive our photos?
Within two weeks of your wedding you will receive some preview photos to give you an idea of what's to come! Your complete gallery will be ready within 8 - 10 weeks. These will be uploaded to an online gallery where you will be able to download your favourites in low and high-format and share online. You will also be able to order fine art prints or even an album with me should you wish!
Do you offer video?
I do not offer video, so I can focus on creating beautiful photos of your day, and not missing a moment. However, if you would like, I can recommend some wonderful videographers, who will also compliment how I work :)
